PeMad is an independent translation and language service based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It operates under the auspices of an Indonesian NGO called Yayasan Suara Bhakti (YSB) or ‘Voice of Dedication Foundation’, founded based on Memorandum of Association No. 164 Year 1987.
PeMad itself was established in 1997 and is officially recognized with the Business License No. 503 / 8401 / HO / 2006. Seventy per cent of PéMad’s operational profits are passed on to YSB’s Community Development program which provides free assistance with income generating schemes and English language training for marginalized communities in the Yogyakarta region.
